Cars of the 50's

This is one of the Christmas gifts I got this year. Cars from the 50's never quite go out of style. Hope you all are having a great holiday. We(family) are on holiday up in Maine visiting my mother-in-law. Merry Christmas to all!

Impala SS Taxi

Being Chevy Impala owner this grabbed my attention. An Impala SS was spotted as a taxi at Miami International Airport as reported here at Autoblog. I've seen them as taxi's and used for local police departments before but the are usually plain Jane(no offense to the Jane's of the world) Impala's not SS model's. Though I did see an Impala police car scream by my driveway (at a very high rate of speed with lights and siren going) and I couldn't help feel a bit of pride. Obviously this person(the taxi driver) has good taste and good sense.

Traffic Jam mystery explained

I'm sure everyone one of us has been on the highway cruising along all of a sudden come to almost a halt. You may thing that's an accident caused it or some thing. Only plug along and find nothing. I guess some mathematicians have figured out a model that explains this relatively common occurrence. It may give some insight into the traffic delays I'm sure many of will experience visiting friends and family over Christmas.

Camaro Update

Apparently a spy photo was leaked somehow of the next generation camaro. this comes via Autoblog and Camaro5 website. Still can't wait for this one to come out. the more I see of it the more I like it!

Camaro Countdown
