Punch Buggy Red on American Graffiti
“American Graffiti” is one of my personal favorite movies. If your a car nut you can have fun just trying to identify all the different kind of cars. Of course everyone who knows a little about the movie know about the Milner’s 32 Deuce Coupe, Steve’s 58 Impala, Suzanne Somers driving a white T-Bird and of course a young Harrison Ford driving a black 55 Chevy.
A car that doesn’t usually get mentioned in the movie is the early 60’s red VW Beetle convertible. We see Richard Dreyfus riding around with an old flame(her girlfriend is driving) of his. According to the Internet Movie Cars Database it’s a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle convertible.
